The 20th edition of the FIFM (Marrakech International Film Festival) will take place from November 24 to December 2, 2023, making Marrakech the capital of international cinema in November 2023.

The Marrakech International Film Festival has a captivating spectacle in store with the revelation of the composition of its jury. Made up of 9 members from the four corners of the globe (Australia, Morocco, Great Britain, Sweden, Iran, France), chaired by the multi-awarded American actress, Jessica Chastain, this jury will have the delicate mission of deciding between the 14 films in competition for this 2023 edition of the FIFM.

Alongside Jessica Chastain, personalities from the cinematographic world such as Zar Amir (actress, producer and director), Camille Cottin (actress), Joel Edgerton (actor and director), Joanna Hogg (director, producer and screenwriter), Alexander Skarsgard ( actor), Leïla Slimani (author), Dee Rees (director) and Tarik Saleh (producer, director and screenwriter) will bring their expertise and passion to this celebration of cinema.

Marrakech Hosts Prestigious IMF and World Bank Assemblies : A Landmark Event for Africa

Event Marrakech, It has been fifty years since the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund ( IMF ) held their annual meetings on the African continent. This time, it is in Marrakech that their big rally will take place, from Monday October 9 to October 15 , focused on climate reform and financing.
